It wasn't my idea though, I wanted to do a russian themed army recently, and then I saw keberosw40k post a pic of his BMD.
http://kerberosw40k.blogspot.com/2011/03/imperial-guard-tank-1.htmlrevenanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17826237082533895833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895833814844787136.post-37807929554009268822011-04-17T20:54:24.608+10:002011-04-17T20:54:24.608+10:00That is an awesome idea mate, and a great conversi...That is an awesome idea mate, and a great conversion! The GunGravehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07227627485676956592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895833814844787136.post-86690078825186825582011-04-17T07:45:50.957+10:002011-04-17T07:45:50.957+10:00Yeah, you'd have to cut the hull to go on top....Yeah, you'd have to cut the hull to go on top.
Nice work overall man.PoliticalOfficerKradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00758176395705962499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895833814844787136.post-78823202545575268322011-04-17T00:52:30.939+10:002011-04-17T00:52:30.939+10:00good points comrade...

Down there it's gonna catch on anything the vehicle rolls over and is more prone to being shorn away.

It looks cool overall though.PoliticalOfficerKradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00758176395705962499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895833814844787136.post-9678702515133120722011-04-16T09:03:27.240+10:002011-04-16T09:03:27.240+10:00Thanks BoxerSaint!

I want them to have a good clean look, and then maybe even use weathering pigments. so much to learn...

And yes, a seperate army. I'm going to reuse my storm troopers, and perhaps repaint the desert camo cadians into a russian scheme.revenanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17826237082533895833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895833814844787136.post-75111360410089126952011-04-16T01:06:37.068+10:002011-04-16T01:06:37.068+10:00Nice job. They will be a separate army from your Steel Legion, right?BoxerSainthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05092420315975041509noreply@blogger.com
