My sentinel was the first steel legion armour I painted c2001. A guy at a GW store taught me.

used a slightly different paint technique, didn't mix fortress grey with rotting flesh for the transition from grey to rotting flesh. Just a straigh drybrush of rotting flesh. I prefer this easier method. It looks bolder and more striking.
